Our Los Angeles wedding catering team hosted a fun Sunday morning wedding topped-off with a hearty, organic breakfast.
Our Los Angeles wedding catering team was excited to be a part of this fun wedding. Aislin and Tim wanted to get married on a relaxing Sunday morning followed by a tasty organic breakfast with all the fixin’s. As a Los Angeles wedding caterer “we love these types of events; coming up with creative solutions to fit our client’s unique wedding needs,” says Michelle, Eco Caters’ Wedding Coordinator.
As guests arrived they we offered an array of organic beverages: brewed coffee and hot tea along with freshly squeezed orange juice, freshly squeezed cranberries sweetened with honey, and iced water infused with crushed mint leaves. For the guests who wanted to get their day started a different way, our open bar served mimosas, bloody mary’s and beer. Our Los Angeles wedding caterers team quietly worked behind the scenes making sure everything ran according to plan.
Our Los Angeles wedding caterers prepared a lavish table of garden-fresh fruits and berries with assorted cheeses, and house made preserves and jams. Guests helped themselves to scrambled eggs with sun-dried tomatoes and green chives, and a fun assortment of pancakes topped with strawberry maple syrup, bananas, seasonal fruits, vegan chocolate chips, pecans, and fluffy whipped cream. Breakfast is a nice culmination of light and refreshing, mixed with wholesome comfort foods and our kitchen did a wonderful job with both the presentation and the flavors of their wedding breakfast.
Who needs a wedding cake when you’ve got pan-CAKES! Pictured on the right, our Los Angeles wedding catering ream created a breakfast twist on the classic wedding cake with a mile high stack of pancakes.
Aislin and Tim put together a very personal and original wedding and we were honored be involved. We want to thank them for choosing Eco Caters as their Los Angeles wedding caterer, for welcoming us into their home and allowing our team use their kitchen. You have a beautiful home and a beautiful family.
Our Los Angeles wedding catering company serves up another delicious wedding buffet at the Smog Shoppe.
Here at Eco Caters, our Los Angeles wedding catering team, we cater all types of weddings. Some of our clients prefer having a Los Angeles wedding caterer plating everyone’s food, some prefer a family-style reception dinner, while others prefer serving up our food buffet style. Each one has its own qualities and we are always excited to accommodate our happy couples no matter which one they choose. As a Los Angeles wedding caterer we are happy to pull off any style our clients wish.
Jenny and Russ came to our Los Angeles wedding catering team for their wedding cater needs at our Los Angeles office and we agreed that doing their wedding buffet style was the best economic way for their guests to taste the food the couple picked out while working in their financial window.
To head off their buffet our Los Angeles wedding caterers grilled a savory, Porter Marinated Tri-Tip dripping with a green peppercorn sauce. For our seafood lovers our Los Angeles catering company grilled thick fillets of Mahi Mahi topped with our popular yet spicy Cilantro Jalapeno Oil with sautéed scallions. For sides guests were treated to our buttery smashed potatoes accented with black truffle, a nutty flavored Thyme Mirepoix Quinoa, and a colorful assembly of grilled Farmers Market vegetables.
During most of the events we cater our Los Angeles wedding caterers likes to make sure the children are taken care of too by making them their own special plates. Sometimes we cook the kids a plate of our creamy, homemade Gorgonzola mac-n-cheese but for Jenny and Russ’s wedding the chef made them grilled chicken strips atop Fettuccini. It got pretty quiet at the kiddy table, which is always a good sign that we did our job.
The wedding turned out so beautiful and everything went so smoothly. We here at Eco Caters want to wish Jenny and Russ the very best in their new lives together and want to say thanks, you two were such a great couple to work with and we shared in your excitement.
Warmest regards from the Eco Caters Team
Add a dose of personality to your wedding by loosing those table numbers and replacing them with something more, YOU.
Every bride and groom wants to have a wedding brimming with style and this one gets some high marks. Carmen and Garcia dazzled their guests for this Smog Shoppe wedding by using some cool blue table runners, accented with bright red linin napkins, and topped off with yellow Craspedia flowers. But the way the couple used a Beatles album to signify each table over using a number system is what made this wedding fun. It’s such a simple and unique idea!
I liked this idea so much that I made sure to incorporate it into my own wedding, except my wife and I wanted to label each table with one of our favorite bands instead. We had the Beatles as one table, Bob Dylan as another and for a fun play on words we had Radiohead designated as our head table.
Add a little personality to your wedding by straying from those boring table numbers and add your own flair. It can be anything. Movies you enjoy, a list of your favorite beers, actors, artists, paintings, sports teams, states or countries you have special memories with, an Angry Bird for each table, the list goes on and on.
As always, our Los Angeles Eco Caters team would like to thank Carmen and Garcia for letting us be apart of their beautiful wedding. Your families were so lovely and we had such a great time serving all of you. Best wishes!
Eco Caters is proud to announce our new partnership with Wise Coffee. We now provide Wise Coffee at all of our Los Angeles area events.
Wise Coffee is 100% organic and that’s important to us here at Eco Caters. We like to see our venders holding themselves to the same quality standards that we hold ourselves too. Wise Coffee goes above and beyond by packaging their coffee with recycled and sustainable materials. They have thought of everything.
Beyond the fact that Wise Coffee is 100% organic, it’s just great tasting coffee! They sacrifice nothing in flavor. They roast in small batches to keep their level of quality up and to make sure each cup of coffee you brew is perfect. The passion Ryuichi and Sheila have for their coffee is evident upon your first sip.
Ryuichi and Sheila are far from a couple Coffee junkies, their knowledge and articulation of coffee is more inline with that of a sophisticated wine connoisseur. They started their website (wisecoffee.com) in 2005 as a hub for caffeinated enthusiast such as themselves. The website grew out of a frustration at the bountiful amount of poorly roasted coffee bean options and a lack of awareness coffee drinkers had in choosing their beans. The website is loaded with educational information and it is also broken down quiet nicely, making it easy to swallow.
You don’t need to cater an event with Eco Caters, our Los Angeles catering company to taste Wise Coffee, they are more than happy to talk with you personally and suggest a roast to fit your taste buds. Their website offers bags of coffee starting around $12. Give them a try! You won’t regret it.

Beautiful & Sustainable Wedding on Sunset Cliffs in Ocean Beach by Eco Caters, San Diego Wedding Catering division
Eco Caters, local San Diego wedding catering company, catered an exquisite wedding at a beautiful home on Sunset Cliffs in Ocean Beach. The bride and groom, Jennifer and Aaron, were such a great, fun couple to work with!
The wedding ceremony took place on the front deck of the house, with the stunning beach and waves in the backdrop. After the ceremony, San Diego wedding caterers got the party started with tray pass hors d’oeuvres, which was definitely a hit with the guests! Eco Caters servers passed around grass-fed beef sliders with smoked cheddar and caramelized onion, which were always the first ones that were gone as soon as the tray came out. San Diego wedding catering company also dished out gougere with house bacon, arugula, and pickled onion, as well as juicy mojo shrimp with pineapple and chive. Of course we also saved some tasty hors d’oeuvres on a personal plate for Jennifer and Aaron to enjoy after pictures.

After a champagne toast and a special first dance, everyone was seated for dinner. The bride and groom decided on an organic and sustainable plated dinner from our San Diego wedding caterers. This was ideal for the small amount of guests at the wedding.
Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterer, first brought out mixed greens with cucumber, tomatoes, and carrots with house made buttermilk ranch. Following the salad, Eco Caters servers personally delivered the plated entrées to each guest. The wedding guests could decide between two different entrées. One choice was tender grilled chicken marinated in lemon, garlic, olive oil, and marjoram served with herbed Wieser Farms potatoes and julienne zucchini.
The other entrée from your favorite San Diego wedding catering company was grilled salmon with smoked chili and brown sugar with baked radicchio and a side of summer squash. The kids’ table was content and happy with their baked chicken fingers, carrots, and green beans with house ranch and honey mustard for dipping sauces.
After dinner, Eco Caters servers set up the coffee station with a cute cupcake display. The wedding and the reception were absolutely flawless, and the bride and groom were glowing. What a fun day and a beautiful wedding!
“(Eco Caters) were extremely professional and provided a beautiful wedding. I would highly recommend them. Their food is amazing!” – Aaron

Eco Caters, San Diego Wedding Catering division, recently catered a beautiful wedding at La Jolla Women’s Club
Saturday was a perfect, breezy and beautiful day for Lisa and Kim’s wedding in La Jolla. This eco-friendly couple chose Eco Caters, all organic and local San Diego wedding caterers, to provide hors d’oeuvres and a delicious meal for their guests. La Jolla Women’s Club was a perfect and easy venue for an intimate wedding ceremony, yet also provided a spacious and open feel for the reception.
Right after the ceremony in the beautiful garden, our San Diego wedding catering company kicked off cocktail hour with a selection of stationary hors d’oeuvres. There was a cheese display alongside fresh fruit and preserves, as well as the popular hummus trio with tabouli, olives, and grilled flatbread. We also dished out antipasto with marinated artichoke, sweet peppers and arugula, and fresh cherry tomatoes and mozzarella. There was plenty of lemonade, iced tea, and mint water available for guests along with the bar, courtesy of your eco-friendly San Diego wedding caterer. The appetizers kept guests coming back for more until they were seated for dinner.
Our San Diego wedding catering company started off dinner with a wild arugula salad with peach, nectarine, Point Reyes blue cheese, and apple cider vinaigrette. The main dishes included braised beef brisket with tomato, garlic, olives, and preserved lemon. This entrée was made extra special by adding the groom’s home brewed smoked porter to it for a unique and personalized touch. There was also grilled garlic rubbed fennel with roasted spaghetti squash as a vegetarian option. Complementing the main dishes were Roasted Weiser Farms potatoes with marjoram and thyme as well as grilled broccolini with garlic and lemon.
Following dinner, your favorite San Diego wedding caterers put out a coffee station to go along with the lovely display of cupcakes that were provided. We had such an amazing time helping Lisa and Kim celebrate their big day!

Our Los Angeles wedding catering team offers friendly advice to help couples like you invision your special day.
Michelle of Eco Caters, our Los Angeles wedding catering team sat down with Joy and Gonzalo and listened to their wedding requests. After getting to know the couple and tasting some of our delicious food samples, the three of them worked together to conceptualize their special day.
The couple wanted something modern but slightly rustic. Michelle highly recommended The Smog Shoppe which is a repurposed party palace made up of reused materials, recycles rainwater into drinking water, and is powered by the sun. One advantage we have over another Los Angeles wedding caterer is that we are right across the street from the Smog Shoppe! Michelle set up a time for the couple to visit the space and they instantly fell in love with it. It’s the perfect all-in-one location. Couples can tie the knot out in the garden, mingle out in the sun during cocktail hour, have dinner in its spacious dining room, and have plenty of floor space left to dance the night away. It even has a handsome movie screen available for use! Some wedding couples like to play a slide show before dinner and others like to play romantic black and white films during the dancing hours for an extra dose of eye-candy and atmosphere.
Joy and Gonzalo shared an intimate ceremony by the bride’s dear friend and officiant, Sheila. She knew the couple well and it made their wedding all the more meaningful for them.
Following the ceremony guests mingled for cocktail hour and stationary Hors D’Oeuvres. Our team of Los Angeles wedding caterers presented a table of fresh and local appetizers; Antipasto with marinated artichoke, sweet peppers with arugula, marinated cherry tomato with mozzarella, mixed olives and crostini, and a bouquet of Farmers Market fruit drizzled with local honey.
Our team of Los Angeles wedding caterers served up a hearty family-style dinner, cleared the tables in preparation for coffee and deserts, and made way for the wedding party to shake their booties on into the night.
From all of us here at Eco Caters, we want to say thank you to Joy, Gonzalo and their extended families for being such a fun group of people to work with. We truly had a wonderful time getting to know them over the past few months and seeing how happy they were the day of their wedding makes all of our jobs worthwhile. Congratulations!

Just wanted to share some fun photos from our afternoon food tasting.
We had a lovely couple come into our office today in Culver City to talk about their upcoming wedding. Dana and Michelle put together a beautiful table of flowers and place setting ideas for the couple to look over. Our kitchen brought out a platter of food samples and we sat around to eat, drink, and just have a good time getting to know one another.
If you’re thinking of throwing an event or wedding in the Los Angeles area, give Dana or Michelle at Eco Caters a call! They would love to sit down with you to taste our delicious food and help you plan out your next celebration.
