Our Los Angeles Branch Eco Caters has a New Home!
LA’s new nest! Our Los Angeles branch has officially moved into its new kitchen at the Culver Studios lot. We are honored to be the exclusive in-house catering company of a studio lot surrounded by so much of cinema history! While we are rubbing elbows with celebrities, we are still focused on accessible, full-service organic catering for all of you Southern Californians.
To celebrate, we wanted to share our space with all of our dearest friends, vendors, past brides, and future brides to be. We are pleased to say, thanks to you, our first happy hour was a success!
Executive Chef Nick Brune had a chance to connect with clients and to tour our new kitchen facility. Guests were also shown around the studio lot where they saw some of the soundstages where films like King Kong, Citizen Kane and Star Trek were filmed. Iconic television shows like Pee Wee’s Playhouse and Arrested Development were also shot right here on the Culver Studios Lot. Following the tour, everyone enjoyed complimentary cocktails and nibbled on some of Eco’s savory treats.
Gourmet morsels from the kitchen: handmade crab cakes with local mozzarella, plump samosas fresh from the oven with a reduced mint sauce, and a grilled chicken shawarma skewers with a tart cucumber coconut yogurt sauce.
With a larger venue, we are excited to host regular parties, catered of course, by yours truly! We look forward to another exciting year and thrilled for our next happy hour.
