Revel Revel

From its lofty setting above San Diego’s Gaslamp District, Revel Revel is a brand new venue that’s perfect for wedding receptions, private dinners and parties, rehearsal dinners and corporate events. High ceilings with wooden beams, exposed brick, wood floors, living walls, and huge windows that let in plenty of natural light give it a relaxed but elegant ambience.

ELEVATE YOUR EVENT

With moving walls and mobile bars, Revel Revel adapts to accommodate a crowd or an intimate gathering. If you want to host a cocktail hour (or evening) then the space opens up and bite-size morsels are passed to guests by servers. Alternatively,
if you want to host a blow-the-budget multi-course dinner for friends and family tables will be dressed with crisp linens, sparkling glassware and flowers and you’ll be served tableside.

FLOOR TO CEILING ART INSTALLATION

A vast wrap-around installation by local surf photographer, Aaron Chang, lines two walls of the venue. Instagram-worthy ‘Champagne’, which was shot on Tamarack Beach, Cardiff, shows the rising sun reflected in a wave. It’s a powerful,
uplifting mural and, as Aaron says, an image of celebration.

PACKAGES & BESPOKE OPTIONS

You’ll know that planning an event can be stressful so to make your life easy Revel Revel has put together four packages to help you get started.

The Horton Package is your go-to for casual to dress code events with its family-style and buffet options. Stingaree is your choice when you want to host a bells-and-whistles fancy dinner. Keeping it laid back with drinks and nibbles?
Then Revel’s Libations Package and Morsel Package have you covered.

YOUR CHEF

One of the real highlights of choosing to host an event at Revel Revel is that the catering is included in your venue hire costs. This means you don’t have to spend hours (weeks, even) hunting high and low for a great caterer. Revel Revel
has one of the best on site.

Chef Nick Brune and his team, from sister company Eco Caters, are on hand to whip up mouthwatering menus and to-die-for dinners that will delight your guests whether you’re planning a fancy sit-down meal or tray-served appetizers.

SAN DIEGO’S GASLAMP DISTRICT

The Gaslamp District is steeped in history and is notable for its beautiful Victorian architecture set across 16.5 blocks. Originally named ‘New Town’ when it was founded by William Heath Davis in 1850, the area has undergone many transformations
but is famous for its gambling halls (three of which were run by Wyatt Earp) and ‘Stingaree’ red light district of the 1880s. The area has since cleaned up its act but remains a colorful hub of first rate entertainment.

Downtown San Diego is home to a plethora of hotels, bars, clubs and restaurants. When you or your guests want to relax, take in one of the city’s many attractions, including San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park. Or work you way around over 60
beaches and hundreds of hiking trails.
