Your Los Angeles Catering Division of Eco Caters passionately promotes Smog Shoppe in Culver City as one of their preferred venues.
Every chance I get to speak about Smog Shoppe, I do. The venue is beautiful and unique. The certification proves it: US Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum Certification. If you do not know what that is, I will tell you. The LEED Green Building Certification Program encourages and accelerates global adoption of sustainable green building development practices. They do this through a detailed rating system which recognizes projects that implement strategies for better environmental and health performance. The Smog Shoppe qualified for 55 points out of the maximum of 57. Which made it “one of the most sustainably designed urban spaces in the United States.” When our Los Angeles catering staff is assigned here, they are ecstatic.
Enough about the stats. This venue is just fantastic! Their stock of sustainable goods such as tables, chairs and benches really help with the budget. Plus it makes you feel good when your guests awe over how eco-friendly everything is. It goes without saying, being an eco-friendly organic Los Angeles caterer, we awe over this space too. They even have a full kitchen for our chefs. What I am getting at is, rentals are minimal which is a nice thing. Design will play a factor in that, as it would with any event.
