Beverly Hills Catering – Organic Tray Passed Party
We work in Beverly Hills often, and one party that stood out was a holiday party on December 12th that we did at a home on the hills of Mulholland looking over all of LA. The house was just as beautiful as the view. With red rose table settings, candles, and a beautiful display of stationary hors d’oeuvres provided by us, the night was sure to be a success from the very beginning. The stationary hors d’oeuvres included southern chicken lollipops with homemade buttermilk ranch and a mezze platter with hummus, baba ganouj, and roasted red peppers.
While the guest enjoyed themselves and engaged in conversation, our servers tray passed truffled grilled cheese, salmon rillette in crouton cups, petite lump crap hand rolls with chive and julienne peppers, roasted tomato crostini with bagna cauda, and bacon and arugula sliders with aged gruyère. This Beverly Hills catering event was lucky enough to enjoy fish from Catalina, where they sell local caught fish. We also used Weiser Family Farms which is where all of the root vegetables and potatoes came from for this event. The night came to an end with guests raving about the organic catering services we had provided. The guests especially enjoyed the southern chicken lollipops and the salmon rillette and the hosts walked away knowing that we were the right choice for their organic meal.
All Organic Catering- Pasadena Catering
Organic catering is Eco Caters specialty and at the wedding of Vicky and Mike on October 17th, 2009 we were able to showcase our many skills. It was held at the beautiful Japanese American Museum in Pasadena. The décor was exquisite, the colorful lanterns hanging from the walls was a perfect complement to the rest of the museum. Once the beautiful ceremony was completely, stationary hors d’oeuvres were set up in the courtyard. There was a chef’s choice cheese display with market fruit and preserves and vegetable crudités with roasted onion dip and house ranch.
While the bride and groom enjoyed conversation with their guests before dinner, more hors d’oeuvres were being tray passed. Those startes consisted of roasted chicken with avocado, sweet corn, and fermented black beans; grilled shrimp with mojo and pineapple; and asparagus with crispy jamon. The truffile grilled cheese seemed to be the favorite of all the appetizers, as guests were reaching for their second and thirds.
Organic catering can definitely impress those taste buds that have never had the pleasure of really exploring what local fresh ingredients can taste like. For dinner we served a stellar salad mix with pumpkin seed, shaved purple onion, tomato, and sweet pepper vinaigrette. The guests’ then had the\ choice between ancho crusted ribeye served with golden beets, horseradish, and chive; herb crusted chicken breast with truffled potato and grilled squash; and the vegetarian option, spaghetti squash with portobella chimmichurri. Although some guest were skeptical about an all organic wedding, after getting a taste of what Eco Caters had to offer, people were very pleased and many asked for business cards.
Apple pie is a favorite dessert of both the bride and groom, so after dinner warmed apple pie was served to all guests that chose to enjoy something sweet after a filling meal. The event photographer Rob Greer took many beautiful artistic pictures which can found on his website http://www.robgreerweddings.com/blog/. The wedding came to a conclusion with all guests dancing the night away, and a very satisfied bride and groom. Eco Caters has been doing Pasadena Catering since they opened in 2007 and this was a very nice event.
Los Angeles Catering – Bat Mitzvah – Organic Catering
Eco Caters did an all Organic Brunch on Sunday October 18th, 2009 in Los Angeles. This was an all organic catering event, and was the final celebration of the Bat Mitzvah that occured the night before. The brunch buffet included assorted bagels with lox and cream cheese; a California scramble with avocado, tomato, and crème friache; breakfast burritos with chicken sausage, egg, cheese, and salsa; and a fresh fruit platter.
Organic catering does not just stop with the food, we accompanied the food buffet with a full coffee and tea bar as well as all freshly squeeze organic juices and smoothie bar. The juice choices did not just stop with orange and apple, the crowd favorite seemed to be the pomegranate-apple combination that had the perfect balance of tart and sweet. Los Angeles catering is definitely an area where we are lucky to get the local fresh ingredients. Wieser farms supplies us witha ll or our cage free organically fed eggs and the freshest potatoes around. The next time you are looking for Los Angeles catering companies to do your next Bat Mitzvah, make sure you remember Eco Caters for the freshest, local organic products.
Organic Catering for an Art Gallery Opening – Beverly Hills Catering
Eco Caters did an all organic catering event for an art gallery opening on Saturday October 10th in Beverly Hills. The event consisted of tray passed hors d’oeuvres like duck confit with fennel seed and apple on endive; dungeness crap roulade; spicy curry chicken salad with California golden raisins; and scallop ceviche with citrus, agave, and coconut. Because of the fact that there was no kitchen on site, Eco Caters customized their menu creating organic tray passed hors d oeuvres that would be great served room temperature. The owners of the gallery really appreciate an eco-friendly lifestyle and wanted their gallery opening to represent that to. So along with serving all organic food, a selection of Organic wines were served as well. To check out more pieces of art go to www.garboushian.com.
