Our Los Angeles Catering division caters lunch meetings at The Mill in Santa Monica. Their staff meet every other week for four straight days. They want a healthy menu, something that would not make them fall asleep in the afternoon. Everyday we put the menu together for them of fresh organic proteins, salads and fruit. One of our staff appears to fully set up their buffet and remains onsite. At the end of the meal, this staff member does all the clean up so you don’t have to. Eco Caters is called upon by the US Coast Guard to cater a picturesque wedding at Point Vicente Lighthouse in Palos Verdes
Standing on the most southwesterly point of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, Point Vicente Lighthouse has long been one of this area’s jewels. To the landsman, the lighthouse is scenic delight and continual attraction to sightseers, tourists, photographers and painters. To the mariner, the lighthouse is an aid to navigation which marks the northern end of the Catalina Channel on the Pacific coast. It helps him plot his position and warns him to avoid the rocky schoals which surround the nearby shore and, in a heavy fog, its horn will warn him if he gets too close to the dangerous shore. The grounds and lighthouse are normally closed to the public. However, the tower and a small museum are open the second Saturday of month between the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Admission is free. Children under 7 are not allowed in the tower and pets are not allowed on the Coast Guard grounds.
This day could not have been more beautiful. The ceremony took place on the grounds as well as the reception. This refreshing menu coupled with the crisp breeze made for a delightful day wedding for our Los Angeles Catering staff.

This couple contacted us with a special request. They wanted good quality, fresh and local food, and they wanted it to be mostly vegan. San Diego Wedding caterer, Eco Caters was up to the challenge. After the couple was wed outside along the marina at Marina Village by Ceremonies by Bethel , organic caterer, Eco Caters, provided hors d’oevres for the cocktail hour. The couple chose our ever popular Chef’s Choice Cheese Display with Market Fruit and Preserve, and Hummus Trio with Tabouli, Olive Salad, and Grilled Flatbread. Guest mingled indoors and out on this sunny San Diego day sipping our homemade lemonade and ice tea. For dinner Eco Caters served our Farmers Market Salad. This salad includes, Best of the Market greens and seasonal vegetables with a vegan house vinaigrette dressing. For the main entrée we searved California inspired Grilled Chicken Breast with Mango and Avocado, vegan Portabella Mushrooms with Chimmi Churri on a bed of Roasted Garlic Angel Hair Pasta. These items were served with sides of rich vegan Truffle Potato Puree, and vegan French Beans with Crispy Shallot. All the friends and family of the couple enjoyed it all. After cutting their cake and serving cupcakes, the couple danced into the night to the sounds of My DJs. The evening turned out beautifully with coordination by First Comes Love events.

Organic Caterer, Eco Caters, was honored when they were asked by the birthday girl to cater her event. Even though it was her day, she really wanted to wow her guests with some tasty, all organic and freshly prepared food. Organic catering company, Eco Caters came to her Orange County home and prepared the meal in her lovely kitchen. This organic caterer started out the event with our fresh from the Farmers Market Fruit Display with Local Honey, tasty Chef’s Choice Cheese Display with Market Fruit and Preserve, savory Antipasto with Marinated Artichoke, Sweet Peppers with Arugula, Marinated Cherry Tomato with Mozzarella, and Mixed Olives. All served on our eco chic Verterra plates. Guest mingled and sipped champagne as the onsite chefs were sautéing, baking and roasting.
This organic catering company set up a savory organic buffet starting with our Farmers Market Salad includeing, Best of the Market greens and vegetables with a house vinaigrette dressing. Guest were then treated to our fresh take on Jidori Chicken Pakora (grilled instead of fried) and our vegetarian Portabella Mushrooms with Chimmi Churri on a bed of Roasted Garlic Angel Hair Pasta. These dishes were served with sides of Coconut Rice and our French Beans with crispy shallots. Dinner concluded, of course, with cake. Everyone really enjoyed our food and gave the dishes much praise. Eco Caters cleaned up the kitchen and left, all while the host and her husband enjoyed their friends and families company.

For this event, Eco Caters, an organic catering company, was taken to La Jolla Farms to prepare some of our delicious fresh fare. La Jolla Farms is absolutely stunning, with many homes having direct views of the ocean, what a great place to get to work! The cocktail hour started with the soft sounds of a string quartet and an organic catered cocktail hour. We provided our Chef’s Choice Cheese Display with Market Fruit and Preserve, Hummus Trio with Tabouli, Olive Salad, and Grilled Flatbread, Antipasto with Marinated Artichoke, Sweet Peppers with Arugula, Marinated Cherry Tomato with Mozzarella, and Mixed Olives, and Farmers Market Fruit Display with Local Honey. Guest mingled and chatted about their holiday festivities as the head chef and his assistants finished preparing the buffet. For this buffet, San Diego organic caters prepared a fresh from the Farmers Market Salad includes, Best of the Market greens and vegetables with a house vinaigrette dressing. For the main course, guest were treated to our Grilled Organic Hanger Steak with Fresh Herbs and Caramelized Shallot and Pan Seared Sea Bass with Cali‐Crystal Beurre Blanc. When our friend Eric of AV event design contacted us for his upcoming wedding, we knew it was going to be amazing. They chose Botanica, a flower studio in little Italy, as the back drop for their ceremony and reception. Botanica was a great place for this party, filled with lots of flowers and eye catching design elements. The bride chose to use simple yet classic honey shantung linens for the belly bars, provided by A Perfect Table. She also rented some high Chiavari chairs for guest to relax at the belly bars with, this is a great idea if you are having a cocktail themed wedding reception with not enough seating for everyone.

Eco Caters loves holiday parties, but what we love even more is getting to cater them! We we pleased to be able to cater this party at a home in El Cajon. We started the night with a cocktail hour, featuring many of our tray passed delicacies. We started with our clients favorite, Thai Chicken Skewers with Marjoram Yogurt. We then passed comforting Beef Wellingtons with Smoked Ketchup and Apricot Mustard and our Petite Lump Crab Handroll with Chive and Julienne Peppers. It was the perfect mix of food to get this party started. As guest chatted and minguled, San Diego catering company, Eco Caters prepared a fresh buffet. The buffet started with our winter salad of Herb Mix with Pumpkin Seed, Shaved Purple Onion, Tomato, and Sweet Pepper Vinaigrette. The buffet also had crowd pleasing Grilled Beef Tenderloin with Red Wine Jus and savory Pan Seared Sea Bass with Cali-Crystal Beurre Blanc. This feast was for a wedding in Temecula. San Diego Caterer, Eco Caters, travels all over southern California catering events almost everywhere. For this meal we started with our crowd pleasing Chef’s Choice Cheese Display with Market Fruit and Preserve, and our homemade Hummus Trio with Tabouli, Olive Salad, and Grilled Flat-bread. For dinner, San Diego caterer, Eco Caters served our fresh from the Farmers Market Salad, Spicy Coconut Curry with Market Vegetables and Coconut Rice, and our decadent Butternut Squash Ravioli with Brown Butter and Crispy Sage. For sides the Bride and Groom chose, Gouda Mac and Cheese, and grilled Green Beans. Everyone loved the meal, and most guest didn’t even notice it was completely vegetarian. This bride and groom we originally married in Scotland and this night was for their stateside guests. The bride chose fresh white linens with rich brown napkins. The flowers were sweet and simple wildflowers, which added a nice burst of color on all the tables. Her friends made the cutest cupcakes and her uncle gave a very heartfelt speech. It was a lovely evening and San Diego caterer, Eco Caters was pleased to be part of it.

We were pleased to get the chance to work with Competitor Group again for the LA Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon. This time we provided Los Angeles catering for both the VIP pre-party and the VIP tent after the race. For the VIP cocktail party, Los Angeles Caterer provided both stationary and tray passed hors d’oeuvres. Guest were welcomed to our Chef’s Choice Cheese Display with Market Fruit and Preserves, Mezze Platter with Hummus Trio, Tabouli, Olives Salad, and Grilled Flatbread, and our fresh Vegetable Crudite with Roasted Onion Dip and House Ranch. We also prepared a trip of tasty little sliders including; Curry Chicken Salad with California Golden Raisins, Muffoletta with Olive Salad and Provolone, Grilled Eggplant with Tomato, Arugula, and Marjoram Aioli. Servers then passed Truffled Grilled Cheese, Roasted Chicken with Avocado, Sweet Corn, and Fermented Black Bean, Beef Wellingtons with Smoked Ketchup and Apricot Mustard, Seared Albacore with Orange Grapefruit Slaw, and Fresh Bruschetta with Tomato Concasse, Avocado Oil, and Preserved Lemon. Guest danced and enjoyed the night before the big race!

This Los Angeles catering team also served up some satisfying sides, including, Gouda Mac and Cheese, Grilled Market Veggies, Southern Pasta Salad with Local Olives, Celery, Onion, and Lemon.
