Organic Wedding Caterer, Eco Caters, prepares fresh cuisine for newlyweds and friends.
This couple contacted us with a special request. They wanted good quality, fresh and local food, and they wanted it to be mostly vegan. San Diego Wedding caterer, Eco Caters was up to the challenge. Eco Caters has many ways of substituting foods to create amazing vegetarian or vegan meals. So good that many meat eater won’t even notice!
After the couple was wed outside along the marina at Marina Village by Ceremonies by Bethel , organic caterer, Eco Caters, provided hors d’oevres for the cocktail hour. The couple chose our ever popular Chef’s Choice Cheese Display with Market Fruit and Preserve, and Hummus Trio with Tabouli, Olive Salad, and Grilled Flatbread. Guest mingled indoors and out on this sunny San Diego day sipping our homemade lemonade and ice tea. For dinner Eco Caters served our Farmers Market Salad. This salad includes, Best of the Market greens and seasonal vegetables with a vegan house vinaigrette dressing. For the main entrée we searved California inspired Grilled Chicken Breast with Mango and Avocado, vegan Portabella Mushrooms with Chimmi Churri on a bed of Roasted Garlic Angel Hair Pasta. These items were served with sides of rich vegan Truffle Potato Puree, and vegan French Beans with Crispy Shallot. All the friends and family of the couple enjoyed it all. After cutting their cake and serving cupcakes, the couple danced into the night to the sounds of My DJs. The evening turned out beautifully with coordination by First Comes Love events.

San Diego Organic Catering for an Simple but Chic Wedding
Eco Caters was so happy when this coupled booked with us! Not only is Levyland one of our favorite venues, but this couple was so laid back and fun to work with. About a week before the wedding the weather drastically changed, we needed to move the entire thing indoors. Levyland has a large garage, which has 2 full glass walls, making it feel like a green house and not a garage at all. With a little pipe and drape and some lighting, the space turned into the most intimate affair. The ceremony was held in the main house living room, which features ceiling to floor windows. With its great views of the ocean, it makes it feel like you are still outside.
After the ceremony, Organic Wedding Caterer, Eco Caters, served cocktails and hors d oeuvres. This included our Hummus Trio with Tabouli, Olive Salad, and Grilled Flatbread and Antipasto with Marinated Artichoke, Sweet Peppers with Arugula, Marinated Cherry Tomato with Mozzarella, and Mixed Olives. Guest then moved into the reception space, which featured beautiful linens by A Perfect Table, and the most unique centerpieces made by the bride and her mother.
Dinner started with a fresh from the farmers market salad, provided by Organic Wedding Caterer, Eco Caters. This salad features the Best of the Market greens and seasonal vegetables as well as our tangy house vinaigrette dressing. For the main entrées, guest were treated to our vegetarian Portabella Mushrooms with Chimmi Churri on a bed of Roasted Garlic Angel Hair Pasta and Grilled Chicken Breast with Mango and Avocado. This San Diego Organic Caterer prepared Herb Roasted Potatoes and Grilled Farmers Market Vegetables for the sides. Guest were all very happy with the meal.
The wedding party and friends danced into the night, sipping the couples signature cocktail of blood orange soda and champagne, a must try. They ended the night with cake served by VG bakery, a local favorite. Organic Catering company, Eco Caters started out this fun holiday lunch with our fresh from the market Vegetable Crudite with Roasted Onion Dip and House Ranch, and Farmers Market Fruit Display with Local Honey. Guest were then treated to a healthy meal of Farmers Market Salad includes, Best of the Market greens and vegetables with a house vinaigrette dressing, a vegetarian entree of Grilled Polenta Cake with Market Vegetable Ragout, and Braised Beef Brisket with Tomato and Garlic for the meat eaters. All prepared by organic caterer, Eco Caters. For sides this San Diego organic caterer provided Roasted Weiser Farms Potatoes with Marjoram and Thyme, and Grilled Farmers Market Vegetables. Guest were so please with all the fresh and organic options, which was a nice change after all the typical holiday parties they have been attending. For dessert the chef made decadent Caramel Brownies, a real crowd pleaser. The guest were very thankful for the lunch provided by their company as a holiday treat to them. They were pleased to be offered such healthy, tasty and fresh, organic caterer food.

San Diego catering company, Eco Caters, loves the San Diego Oceans Foundation and wanted to give back to them. We teamed up with a few other leading local chefs to provide the SD Oceans Foundation gala with yummy sustainable seafood dishes. All seafood was donated by our friends at Carlsbad Aqua Farm and Catalina Offshore. San Diego caterer, Eco Caters, brought out our love of southern food with our Chargrilled Oysters with Louisiana Liqueur and Parmesan Cheese. Guest were raving over them. The event was held at a beautiful home in Ranch Santa Fe, there was live music and a silent auction, all helping to raise money for the SD Oceans Foundation. They also had students from Scripps Oceanography program talking about each type of sustainable seafood, which San Diego catering company, Eco Caters found very interesting!
The mission of the San Diego Oceans Foundation is to promote ocean stewardship by leading community-supported projects that enhance the ocean habitat and encourage sustainable use of the oceans resources. SDOF recruits and trains community members to assist with our marine programs. These volunteers work at the grass-roots level where they learn new skills and become educated in marine conservation efforts. Eco Caters, a San Diego Catering company, put together a filling Vegetarian feast
This feast was for a wedding in Temecula. San Diego Caterer, Eco Caters, travels all over southern California catering events almost everywhere. For this meal we started with our crowd pleasing Chef’s Choice Cheese Display with Market Fruit and Preserve, and our homemade Hummus Trio with Tabouli, Olive Salad, and Grilled Flat-bread. For dinner, San Diego caterer, Eco Caters served our fresh from the Farmers Market Salad, Spicy Coconut Curry with Market Vegetables and Coconut Rice, and our decadent Butternut Squash Ravioli with Brown Butter and Crispy Sage. For sides the Bride and Groom chose, Gouda Mac and Cheese, and grilled Green Beans. Everyone loved the meal, and most guest didn’t even notice it was completely vegetarian. This bride and groom we originally married in Scotland and this night was for their stateside guests. The bride chose fresh white linens with rich brown napkins. The flowers were sweet and simple wildflowers, which added a nice burst of color on all the tables. Her friends made the cutest cupcakes and her uncle gave a very heartfelt speech. It was a lovely evening and San Diego caterer, Eco Caters was pleased to be part of it.

Wakeland housing and development corporation asked Eco Caters to help them with the launch of a brand new apartment building. This time the building incorporated eco-friendly materials. The weather the day of the event was rainy and muggy, but Eco Caters pressed on, serving guest refreshing Lemonade, Ice Tea, and Water with mint. We then opened a buffet of Farmers Market Salad, Chicken Shawarma, Canellini and Vegetables on Orzo, homemade Hummus, Tabouli, toasty Fresh Pita, Fresh Fruit and Cookies.

San Diego Caterer, Eco Caters, could not wait to work with this unique and fun couple. With the bride being a photographer and the husband a graphic designer, we new this wedding was going to be super cool. The couple chose to start the cocktail hour off with blackberry mojitos and our fresh and unique passed appetizers. These consisted of savory Roasted Chicken with Avocado, Sweet Corn, and Fermented Black Bean, zippy Carrot Orange Shooters, decadent Turkey Sliders with Apple and Arugula, refreshing Cucumber Cups with Mango, Jicama, Chili, and Lime. For dinner, Eco Caters, a San Diego Catering company prepared a mix of Mulit-grain and fresh Challah served with Honey Whipped Butter. For the salad we plated Mixed Greens with Cucumber, Tomato, Carrot, and Garlic Croutons with House Made Buttermilk Ranch. The guest has a choice of Porter Marinated Tri-Tip with Green Peppercorn Sauce served with Truffle Potato Puree and Grilled Asparagus, or Grilled Vegetable Lasagna with House Made Ricotta for their main entree. The meal went out with out a hitch and everyone seemed to really enjoy it.
Eco Caters then cut and served a delicious wedding cake made by Sweet Cheeks Bakery. With the cheery linens, by A Perfect Table, stunning and intriguing flowers by Rae Florae and seamless coordination of Amorology, this wedding was exactly what the new couple deserved, perfection.
Levyland is a great place to get married or hold any event. They offer room for up to 10 people and you can stay there for a whole week! San Diego Caters, Eco Caters donated a private dinner to benefit the CCC of San Diego
This past year. San Diego caterer, Eco Caters donated a private dinner for 10 to the Community Coaching Center of San Diego. The CCC then raffled off the dinner with all proceeds going back to the center. Eco Caters was thrilled when the buyer was ready to plan her party! We arrived with everything we needed to prepare a wonderful, intimate meal for her friends. San Diego Caterer, Eco Caters, started the night off with some tray passed appitzers. Guest nibbled on our savory Thai Chicken Skewers with Marjoram Yogurt. The party then flowed into the dining room for a 3 course meal paired with wines. The wine was provided by PRP wines, which is a great way to bring some entertainment to a small get together.
The meal started with a simple summer salad of Arugula, Watercress, and Mint Mix with Nectarine, Apricot, Summer Peach, Feta, and a Sherry Marjoram Vinaigrette. Guest then had a choice of our 6oz Filet Mignon with Wild Mushrooms and Red Wine Demi served with Roasted Wieser Farms Potatoes and Grilled Asparagus or Pan Sautéed Copper River Salmon on a bed of Roasted Fennel Orzo served with a side of Brussels Sprout and finished with a Mustard Chive Sauce , both amazing choices. The meal ended with Port Poached Pear with homemade Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and Sabayon Cream. The host and her guest were very pleased, as was San Diego Caterer, Eco Caters. San Diego Catering company, Eco Caters really enjoyed working with the CCC of San Diego on this fundraiser. The Community Coaching Center (CCC) is a non profit , after school and Saturday community-based, social behavior development and inclusion program for children and teens diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. CCC provides a goal oriented, community-based instruction and inclusion curriculum focusing on building, transitioning, and generalizing skills across multiple environments under a variety of naturally occurring conditions. CCC facilitates the development of meaningful relationships with peers both within the program and out in the community utilizing a variety of individually established evidence-based practices in the field of autism. By providing structured, collaborative community access with supported behavioral and social interactions for our program participants, CCC offers first-hand autism education and inclusion opportunities to our greater San Diego community.

Throwing a birthday party for a friend is really great, but throwing one on the beach with San Diego catering company, Eco Caters, is even better. We did not have much time to put this party together, so the client chose to have Eco Caters handle all rentals and linens. All they had to do was get a permit and choose their menu.
San Diego caterer, Eco caters started the party with tray passed appetizers. These included some cool seared Albacore with orange grapefruit slaw and a warm and spicy black bean and watercress cilantro shooter with tortilla julienne. Guest mingled, tasted some appetizers and watched as we grilled everything on site. Eco Caters even made a new custom dish for the guest of honor, shrimp burgers. These tasty little sandwiches were served on a mix of homemade bread with cocktail sauce and lemon caper aioli. The burgers were served along side a fresh salad of wild arugula, peach, nectarine, goat cheese, and apple cider vinaigrette. Guest had vegetarian pan sautéed polenta with carrot, celery root, and fire roasted tomatoes, savory mirepoix quinoa, and fresh from the market grilled vegetables.
The guest devoured the birthday dinner while the sun provided the most lovely sunset. This was a great treat for both the guest of honor and his guest. We are lucky to be living in California, surrounded by awesome beaches and amazing weather.
