Romantic, vintage inspired wedding catered and coordinated by Eco Caters, San Diego Wedding Catering division

Eco Caters, your favorite San Diego wedding caterer, was so delighted to cater and coordinate Kelly and Tim’s wedding at San Diego Botanic Garden. This fun, beautiful venue has various locations that are perfect for a gorgeous ceremony and reception. The ceremony took place in the walled garden, a small romantic area enclosed by trees.

After the ceremony, guests made their way down to the cocktail hour to enjoy the open bar and tray passed hors d’oeuvres. Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterers, tray passed truffle grilled cheese, seared albacore with orange grapefruit slaw, and seeded crostini with mushroom duxelle, central California chevre, and pink peppercorn. Kelly and Tim had creative and unique ideas for the each detail of the décor. The sign in table, the centerpieces, and the rest of the décor had a unique flair that added to the lovely environment.

After cocktail hour, guests headed to the Victorian Gazebo lawn for dinner. Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterers, placed bread on the tables for guests to snack on before dinner was served. Kelly and Tim chose the organic buffet option with a variety of delicious foods for everyone. Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterer, started the buffet off by serving a lush farmers’ market salad. The main dishes included grilled pacific fish with mango salsa and braised short rib with annatto, orange, and garlic. The sides were the ever popular Gouda mac and cheese and sesame green beans catered by Eco Caters, San Diego wedding catering company.

After dinner, it was time to party. Everyone hit the dance floor and the dancing only stopped when it was time for dessert. Kelly and Tim were such a fun couple to work with and Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterers, wish them the best for the future!

Lovely wedding in the mountains catered and coordinated by Eco Caters, San Diego Wedding Catering division

Secluded Garden Estate is a charming and cute venue near Pala, California. Joseph and Sarah chose to have their wedding on a beautiful fall evening and hired Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterer, as their coordinator and caterer. The bride was so crafty and creative, making the most adorable decorations for the ceremony as well as the reception. The rustic feel of the décor made the setting of the venue absolutely perfect!

Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterers, had a blast working with Joseph and Sarah as well as their guests. This smaller party of around 70 people was just intimate enough. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed the chef’s choice cheese display with market fruit and preserves as well as antipasto with marinated artichokes, sweet peppers with arugula, marinated cherry tomatoes and mozzarella, and mixed olives. Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterer, also had drinks flowing at the bar!

After cocktail hour, guests made their way to the reception area. Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterers, were ready to open the organic buffet for dinner. Dinner included pasture raised pineapple pork with muscavado brown sugar and portabella mushrooms with chimmi churri on a bed of roasted garlic angel hair pasta. Sides included Gouda mac and cheese and French beans with crispy shallot. Eco Caters, San Diego wedding catering company, also satisfied the kids’ table by bringing over plated grilled chicken strips with fettuccini.

The bride and groom were glowing, the food was delicious, and all of the guests had a great time. Eco Caters loved Secluded Garden Estate and working with this awesome crew!

Small, intimate rehearsal dinner and wedding catered by Eco Caters, San Diego Wedding Catering division

Jennifer and Josh had their rehearsal dinner and wedding at a lovely home in Julian, California. Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterers, made the trip up to Julian to provide catering for their rehearsal dinner as well as brunch and dinner on the day of the wedding.

The rehearsal dinner was family style for 13 people. This small party enjoyed stationary hors d’oeuvres which included roasted chicken with avocado, black beans, and corn as well as shrimp and scallop ceviche with lemon, lime, and coconut butter. Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterer, also provided seared albacore with orange grapefruit slaw. For dinner, Eco Caters dished out chipotle blueberry chicken, grilled pacific fish with jalapeno oil and grilled scallion, grilled farmer’s market vegetables, and the popular Gouda mac and cheese. After the delicious meal, guests and family socialized and were ready to start the big day!

Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterers, started off the wedding day by providing a hearty brunch. The menu included California scramble with avocado, tomato, and crème friache as well as house cured maple bacon, and southern buttermilk biscuits with orange honey and sweet butter. There was something for everyone to enjoy as Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterer, also served homemade Belgian waffles with sweet butter and maple syrup and a fresh fruit smoothie bar.

After brunch, it was finally time for the bride and groom to get married! After the beautiful ceremony, Josh and Jennifer joined their guests for an organic family style dinner for 15 people. The hors d’oeuvres included chef’s choice cheese display, calamari with ponzu and chervil, and spicy chicken skewers with marjoram red pepper yogurt. Sides included truffle potato puree and brussels sprouts with mustard.

Thursday Club wedding in Ocean Beach catered and coordinated by Eco Caters, San Diego Wedding Catering division

Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterers, coordinated and catered Joshua and Paola’s wedding at the Thursday Club overlooking the beautiful sights of Ocean Beach.

When guests arrived to the venue, they headed straight to the ceremony. Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterer, provided fresh squeezed lemonade, iced tea, mint water, and assorted natural sodas for the guests to enjoy while waiting. The ceremony took place right before sunset, the perfect setting to be married!

After the ceremony, guests headed to cocktail hour. Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterers, served the chef’s choice cheese display with market fruit and preserves as well as pork rillette with pain a l’ancienne and pickled onion for the hors d’oeuvres. The bar was open and guests could enjoy drinks made by the bartender from Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterer.

Guests began to sit down for dinner, and Eco Caters servers opened the organic buffet. The salad was a farmer’s market salad with best of the market greens and vegetables and a house vinaigrette dressing. The main dishes included braised beef brisket with tomato and garlic and also the chipotle blueberry chicken. Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterers, served up garlic smashed potatoes and grilled farmer’s market vegetables for the side dishes. Paola and Joshua had mentioned that there were a couple vegans at the wedding, so Eco Caters made a special grilled polenta cake with market vegetable ragout for these guests to enjoy.

After dinner, guests were quick to grab the delicious Cold Stone Creamery ice cream cupcakes- yum! Joshua and Paola’s lively and fun wedding party and guests made sure the reception was a spectacular time.

Small and cozy wedding catered and coordinated by Eco Caters, San Diego Wedding Catering division

Angie and Steven’s wedding took place in north county San Diego on a beautiful Sunday in October. The cozy home overlooking the countryside was an ideal spot for a wedding and reception catered and coordinated by Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterers.

Prior to the ceremony, guests snacked on stationary hors d’oeuvres provided by Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterer. The Asian fusion hors d’oeuvres included calamari with ponzu and chervil, seared albacore with citrus slaw and won ton crisps, and spicy tamarind chicken skewers with scallion yogurt. Guests also enjoyed some pre-ceremony drinks served up by the Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterers. After cocktail hour, the ceremony took place next to the gorgeous infinity pool.

Following the ceremony, guests headed to take their seats for the family-style dinner. Eco Caters servers brought all of the dishes to the table for guests to pass around in a “family style” manner. Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterer, first served an Asian style farmer’s market salad. Main dishes were sesame crusted tilapia with lemon butter sauce and the delicious roasted duck in red curry with potatoes and ginger, which was the hit of the night! Lovely Wedding in Solana Beach Catered by Eco Caters, San Diego Wedding Catering Division

Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterer, catered Marla and Jeff’s small wedding at a home in Solana Beach. With only 55 people, this wedding and reception was cozy and cute.

As guests began arriving, the bar was open and Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterers, tray passed red and white wine before the ceremony. The ceremony took place in the beautiful backyard centered around the pool. Guests sipped on fresh squeezed lemonade, mint water, and iced tea while waiting for the ceremony to begin.

After the ceremony, guests indulged in stationary hors d’oeuvres catered by Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterer. Marla and Jeff chose the chef’s choice cheese display with market fruit and preserves. This hors d’oeuvre has three or four types of delicious cheeses with preserves, nuts, and fruit. The couple also chose the salsa trio with organic tortilla chips and guacamole.

Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterers, also served up the organic dinner buffet. The buffet started off with a mixed greens salad with cucumber, tomato, carrot, and garlic croutons with balsamic vinaigrette and olive oil. Marla and Jeff chose the grilled vegetable lasagna with housemade ricotta and the four cheese ravioli with broccolini and white wine sauce. Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterers, also dished out the sides to compliment the main dishes. Marla and Jeff chose the roasted Weiser Farms potatoes with marjoram and thyme, spinach baked with mushrooms, and wild mushroom quinoa.

Charming Wedding at Historical Marston House catered by Eco Caters, San Diego Wedding Catering division

The beautiful Marston House estate in Balboa Park in San Diego is an ideal place for a charming wedding and reception. The rustic  gardens and towering trees surround this historical house with a cozy feel. Jessica and Gary had their wedding and reception at this estate on a lovely fall evening. With the chance of rain, tents and heaters were set up in preparation. However, the couple’s wedding day luck must have stopped the rain just as guests were arriving!

After the ceremony, guests headed over to the reception area for drinks and hors d’oeuvres catered by Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterer. Jessica and Gary chose to have an All-American hors d’oeuvres buffet. To match the comfortable setting in the gardens, guests indulged in some All-American comfort food. Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterers, dished out simple, yet tasty hors d’oeuvres including South Carolina BBQ pork sliders and truffled grilled cheese with tomato confit and chive. The menu also included grassfed beef sliders with smoked cheddar and caramelized onions, sweet potato fries with buttermilk ranch and house ketchup, and thick cut fries with garlic aioli. The lighter hors d’oeuvres included vegetable crudité with roasted onion dip and a delicious farmers’ market fruit display with local honey. All of these classic dishes from Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterers, were a huge hit!

After dancing and socializing, it was time for the bride and groom to cut the cake! Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterer, provided an organic chocolate cake with dark chocolate crème anglaise. This small cake was the perfect size for the bride and groom to enjoy. But not to worry, Eco Caters also served up some delicious desserts for the guests to enjoy! Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterers, prepared a variety of mini desserts including berry cobbler with fresh whipped cream, shortbread with Carlsbad strawberries, and chocolate s-mores.

With such a pretty environment and being so close to San Diego, Temecula has plenty of amazing locations for a wedding. Kristy and Matt chose to have their wedding and reception at a home in Temecula, looking out over the countryside.

Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterers, catered Kristy and Matt’s reception with an array of wonderful hors d’oeuvres and an organic dinner buffet. To start off, Kristy and Matt chose the delicious hummus trio with tabouli, olive salad, and grilled flatbread. Another hors d’oeurve they chose was the antipasto with marinated artichokes, sweet peppers and arugula, marinated cherry tomatoes with mozzarella, and mixed olives. These two hors d’oeuvres are very popular choices as they give a large variety of choices for the guests. And of course, the homemade hummus is absolutely delicious! After the hors d’oeuvres were served, it was time for Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterer to dish out the dinner buffet.

The organic dinner buffet, catered by San Diego wedding caterers, started out with a farmers’ market salad including best of the market greens and vegetables with a house vinaigrette dressing. The first main dish catered by Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterer was the grilled vegetarian lasagna with house ricotta and market vegetables. The bride requested a vegan portion of this dish, which was no problem as Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterers, can always customize any of the dishes! The other main dish was portabella mushrooms with chimmi churri on a bed of roasted garlic angel hair pasta. The sides included grilled broccolini with garlic and lemon, brussels sprouts with mustard, and Gouda mac and cheese. All of these choices blended together nicely to create a delicious buffet.

Lovely Carlsbad Wedding Catered & Coordinated by Eco Caters, San Diego Wedding Catering Division

Shira and Ilya had their wedding at the beautiful Levyland Estates in Carlsbad. Levyland is always a perfect venue for a wedding and reception. Located on a beautiful lagoon, this oceanfront private home gives the bride and groom a private, yet spacious and open area for their large wedding.

Emily, senior event coordinator at the Eco Caters San Diego wedding catering division, coordinated each detail of the wedding to make sure the bride and groom had absolutely nothing to worry about on their special day!

Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterers, used the large gourmet kitchen area to prepare hors d’oeuvres and dinner. During cocktail hour, guests enjoyed the chef’s choice cheese display with fruit and preserves as well as antipasto with marinated artichoke, sweet peppers with arugula, marinated cherry tomatoes, and mixed olives. We also displayed vegetable crudite with roasted onion dip and house ranch. Our Eco Caters bartenders were set up at two different bars for the convenience of the guests. Lemonade, iced tea, and mint water were also available for refreshment prior to the ceremony and during cocktail hour.

After cocktail hour, guests were directed to their seats for dinner. The widespread dinner buffet, catered by Eco Caters, local and organic San Diego wedding caterers, included choices for everyone. The buffet began with two delicious salads: herb mix with pumpkin seed, tomatoes, and sweet pepper vinaigrette, as well as wild arugula with peach, nectarine, blue cheese, and apple cider vinaigrette.

Main dishes included kosher herbed chicken breast with lemon avocado oil and crispy king salmon with fennel onion confit. The vegetarian option was the portabella mushrooms with chimmi churri on a bed of toasted garlic angel hair pasta. Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterer, also provided truffle potato puree and grilled farmers’ market vegetables. We also set out organic challah bread on each of the tables for guests to enjoy.

After dinner, everyone was ready to start dancing. Meanwhile, Eco Caters, San Diego wedding catering company, set up the dessert table and coffee service. Servers then brought out a perfect display of our hand-dipped organic chocolate strawberries for guests to enjoy.

Beautiful & Sustainable Wedding on Sunset Cliffs in Ocean Beach by Eco Caters, San Diego Wedding Catering division

Eco Caters, local San Diego wedding catering company, catered an exquisite wedding at a beautiful home on Sunset Cliffs in Ocean Beach. The bride and groom, Jennifer and Aaron, were such a great, fun couple to work with!

The wedding ceremony took place on the front deck of the house, with the stunning beach and waves in the backdrop. After the ceremony, San Diego wedding caterers got the party started with tray pass hors d’oeuvres, which was definitely a hit with the guests! Eco Caters servers passed around grass-fed beef sliders with smoked cheddar and caramelized onion, which were always the first ones that were gone as soon as the tray came out. San Diego wedding catering company also dished out gougere with house bacon, arugula, and pickled onion, as well as juicy mojo shrimp with pineapple and chive. Of course we also saved some tasty hors d’oeuvres on a personal plate for Jennifer and Aaron to enjoy after pictures.

After a champagne toast and a special first dance, everyone was seated for dinner. The bride and groom decided on an organic and sustainable plated dinner from our San Diego wedding caterers. This was ideal for the small amount of guests at the wedding.

Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterer, first brought out mixed greens with cucumber, tomatoes, and carrots with house made buttermilk ranch. Following the salad, Eco Caters servers personally delivered the plated entrées to each guest. The wedding guests could decide between two different entrées. One choice was tender grilled chicken marinated in lemon, garlic, olive oil, and marjoram served with herbed Wieser Farms potatoes and julienne zucchini.

The other entrée from your favorite San Diego wedding catering company was grilled salmon with smoked chili and brown sugar with baked radicchio and a side of summer squash. The kids’ table was content and happy with their baked chicken fingers, carrots, and green beans with house ranch and honey mustard for dipping sauces.

After dinner, Eco Caters servers set up the coffee station with a cute cupcake display. The wedding and the reception were absolutely flawless, and the bride and groom were glowing. What a fun day and a beautiful wedding!
