A Production Reading at Raleigh Studios for our Los Angeles Catering Division

Eco Caters, Los Angeles Caterers, fed some hungry actors and members of production at Raleigh Studios in Los Angeles.

As with all celebrity gatherings, we are asked not to speak about who is in attendance at the events that your Los Angeles Catering crew executes.  Of course we are keeping to our word and not going to talk about them.  But, we can talk about the studio itself and what your Los Angeles Caterers served.

This time we were at Raleigh Studios, a small studio, which most are not aware is one of the oldest studios in Hollywood.  They actually beat Paramount to the intersection of Melrose & Bronson by over a decade dating back to February 1915.  The studio never became a household name, and settled mainly for renting out its back lot and sound stages to other production companies. It was first known as Clune Studios back in the 20’s.   Raleigh Studios has brought us such classics as “In the Heat of the Night”, “The Best Years of Our Lives” and “What Ever Happened to Baby Jane”.  You can read more about the studios history at http://www.seeing-stars.com/studios/RaleighStudios.shtml.

Your Los Angeles Caterer came into this event with lots of excitement, partly because of the menu.  It showcased some of our Executive Chef, Nick Brune, favorite dishes.   I am going to skip straight to the main entrees.  Keep in mind this event did have Stationary Hors d’oeuvres and a Buffet of Salad, Mains and Sides.  Creole Style Blackened Catfish and Chicken & Sausage Jambalaya.  Being our chef is from Louisiana, you know these dishes were on point.  To accompany these items was our Garlic Smashed Potatoes and Sesame Green Beans.  Continuing to move backward through the menu, they had Best of the Market greens and vegetables with a house vinaigrette dressing.  They began their meal with our Antipasto which is  Marinated Artichoke, Sweet Peppers with Arugula, Marinated Cherry Tomato with Mozzarella and Mixed Olives along with Farmer’s Market Fruit Display with Local Honey.  As a reminder, your Los Angeles Catering crew personally picks the vegetables and fruits from local farms.  All of the ingredients are organic.  He never uses frozen items.
