Such a beautiful area for a couple to get married! The Farmhouse gathers all what you need to make your day perfect! And San Diego wedding catering staff was more than happy to help this wonderful couple with – not only their reception – but also with their rehearsal dinner.
As our bride and groom wanted a family-style dinner, your San Diego wedding caterers did their best to respect the couple’s choices. They finally came up with some great menu ideas which pleased every guest.
Once everybody came back from the ceremony around 6pm, cocktail hours started with two types of hors d’oeuvres prepared by your San Diego wedding caterer: a stationary one with a chef’s choice cheese display with market fruits and preserves, and a vegetable crudite with roasted onion dip and house ranch; as well as tray passed hors d’oeuvres with truffled grilled cheese, some grassfed beef slider with smoked cheddar and caramelized onion, and at last some turkey slider with apricot, apple, arugula and house mustard. The salad that was selected on that day was made from wild arugula with fresh peaches, nectarines, Point Reyes blue cheese and a nice apple cider vinaigrette.
Then, for mains, guests were treated with some delicious Porter marinated Trip-tip with green peppercorn sauce; as well as some grilled pacific fish with cilantro, jalapeno oil and grilled scallion; and finally some pan sautéed polenta with fresh carrot, celery root and fire roasted tomatoes. To accompany these, San Diego wedding catering staff made some appetizing garlic smashed potatoes and grilled farmer’s market vegetables.
Eco Caters, San Diego wedding caterer, served this organic family style buffet with some organic beverages, including some fresh squeezed lemonade, some mint infused water and ice tea. Also, an organic coffee station was available at the end of the meal.
At the end of that day full of emotions, San Diego wedding caterers and all guests were really glad. The wedding ran very well and smoothly. Everything was gathered to make it just unforgettable!
