Organic Wedding Caterer, Eco Caters, prepares fresh cuisine for newlyweds and friends.
This couple contacted us with a special request. They wanted good quality, fresh and local food, and they wanted it to be mostly vegan. San Diego Wedding caterer, Eco Caters was up to the challenge. Eco Caters has many ways of substituting foods to create amazing vegetarian or vegan meals. So good that many meat eater won’t even notice!
After the couple was wed outside along the marina at Marina Village by Ceremonies by Bethel , organic caterer, Eco Caters, provided hors d’oevres for the cocktail hour. The couple chose our ever popular Chef’s Choice Cheese Display with Market Fruit and Preserve, and Hummus Trio with Tabouli, Olive Salad, and Grilled Flatbread. Guest mingled indoors and out on this sunny San Diego day sipping our homemade lemonade and ice tea. For dinner Eco Caters served our Farmers Market Salad. This salad includes, Best of the Market greens and seasonal vegetables with a vegan house vinaigrette dressing. For the main entrée we searved California inspired Grilled Chicken Breast with Mango and Avocado, vegan Portabella Mushrooms with Chimmi Churri on a bed of Roasted Garlic Angel Hair Pasta. These items were served with sides of rich vegan Truffle Potato Puree, and vegan French Beans with Crispy Shallot. All the friends and family of the couple enjoyed it all. After cutting their cake and serving cupcakes, the couple danced into the night to the sounds of My DJs. The evening turned out beautifully with coordination by First Comes Love events.
