San Diego Catering at Water Conservation Gardens

Eco Caters, a San Diego Catering company delivers a tasty cocktail reception

Eco Caters absolutely love the Water Conservation Gardens! They are so lush and beautiful and full of life, what a great place to throw a party or wedding! We jumped at the chance to cater their cocktail party fundraiser.

Guest grazed on San Diego Catering, Eco Caters’s, decadent Chef’s Choice Cheese Display with Market Fruit and Preserves,  Antipasto with Marinated Artichoke, Sweet Peppers with Arugula, Marinated Cherry Tomato with Mozzarella, and Mixed Olives, and Housemade Charcuterie served with Spicy Mustard, Cornichon, Pickled Onions, and Garlic Rubbed Crostini.

The attendees chatted and were entertained by the laid back sounds of  guitarist Roberto Szajkowski. Roberto has been performing on the guitar in San Diego L.A, and Palm Springs for over ten years, both at weddings and private events and at various nightclubs and halls. Some of those included are Four Seasons Resort, The San Diego Chargers Gold Club, The Belly Up, ‘Canes, La Valencia Hotel, La Jolla Cove Suites, Hotel del Coronado, Humphrey’s, Catalina Country Club, The grand Del Mar, XLNC 1 Classical Radio, KIOZ’s “The Mikey Show” and more.

Guest had a great time enjoying the beautiful views, wonderful music and the delicious food provided by these San Diego caterers.

This venue has many different areas you can rent for the day. They have gardens, gazebos, amphitheaters, a covered patio and more. If you are planning an outdoor wedding, you should really consider checking this place out. The garden is closed after 4pm, so it would be a totally private affair, and with the help of San Diego caterers, Eco Caters, could make this event as unique as you are as a couple.

If you are not planning an event, it is still a nice place to go on a lazy sunday. The Water Conservation Garden has nearly five acres of displays that showcase water conservation through a series of beautiful themed gardens, such as a native plant garden and a vegetable garden, as well as how-to displays such as mulch and irrigation exhibits. Admission is free, and the Garden can be viewed on a self-guided tour, or through one of their programs.

The Garden can be a learning laboratory for the dedicated gardener, a delightful place for an afternoon stroll, or a place to gather lots of information about water-wise, or California-Friendly® gardening, while attending a fun family festival.

The Garden is supported by water district dues, and by memberships, donations, grants, facility rentals, and gift shop sales.  In 2005, Friends of the Water Conservation was created to increase private support for the Garden.
