Just a short drive off Highway 101 is a secluded dollop of rustic land, intimately nestled in Topanga Canyon, known as The 1909. Under a canopy of oak trees Bristol and John decided to tie the knot with a fun group of friends and family. Eco Caters, your organic Los Angeles wedding catering team prepared a savory reception dinner as memorable as the day itself.
“I was six months pregnant?! The pregnancy was an important part of the wedding because not only did it speed up the time frame, but also it helped us to understand the significance of the commitment of marriage.” ~ Bristol
Bristol, a drama teacher and John, a high school director or marketing and admissions, set out to create a country style wedding with shabby-chic details. Our Los Angeles wedding catering team designed a downhome meal crafted from organic, in season, and locally sourced ingredients.
An organic Los Angeles wedding catering Menu must highlight the personalities of the couple while staying true to in season produce from neighboring farms. Eco Caters has great relationships with small, local farmers and plans menus by checking in with these suppliers to ensure that we pick the very best ingredients for your event.
Eco Caters matched the heat of a summer day by infusing dishes with a little Louisiana inspired spice. Our Los Angeles wedding caterers also kept the food fun by adding a nice mix of finger goods and comfort dishes.

Since Bristol was pregnant, our Los Angeles wedding catering team dreamed up a few none alcoholic craft cocktails (or mocktails) to serve. The first was basil mixed with a spicy Orange Ginger Ale, and a dry pomegranate shaken with sweet blueberry Mint lime syrup. The two quenched everyone’s thirst and added an entertaining burst of flavor to the food and the conversation. Our Los Angeles wedding caterers love creating one-of-a-kind recipes for our clients. It keeps us on our toes and makes couples like Bristol and John a unique wedding experience.
Thank you Bristol and John for choosing Eco Caters as your Los Angeles wedding caterer and please keep us posted on the baby!!!!
