Eat, Drink & Be Marry

Our Los Angeles wedding catering team helped Liana and Tal put together a memorable wedding at LA’s event hotspot, The Marvimon House.

Cocktails flow from an old wooden bar in the garden.  A waitress swims through the crowd offering hors d’oeuvers straight from the oven.  A woman in a sundress laughs at her boyfriend who just spilled Champaign on his new shoes.  The lively sounds of Louie Armstrong send a toddler into dance spasms.  A grandparent smiles from afar as she watches her granddaughter hug her new husband.  This is the cocktail hour at Liana and Tal’s wedding: a fun-loving couple who put on one heck of a party!  And our Los Angeles wedding caterers where dressed for the job.

“Eat, drink and be marry” was the unspoken theme of Liana and Tal wedding.  They filled the stylish Marvimon House with fun drinks, great food and well-dressed socialites.  Our Los Angeles wedding catering company opened the couple’s cocktail hour with an all-organic finger food feast: homemade red pepper hummus, roasted squash hummus, lemon garlic hummus, olive tapenade, garlic rubbed baguette, diced pico di gallo, and fresh tortilla chips.  The crowd favorite was our homemade empanadas.  The flaky puffed pastries were stuffed with braised beef, olives, raisins, and chives, served with an earthy chimichurri dipping sauce.  Our chef worked diligently to create just the right dough, these are the details we pride ourselves on over another Los Angeles wedding caterer.

Once guests had their fill of drinks and laughs, they took their seats for our Los Angeles wedding caterers to bring on the main course: grilled grass fed hanger steak with minced herbs, local halibut drizzled with our house Jalapeño Oil, grilled Farmers Market broccolini, and our hardy Summer’s Succotash.

As the evening unraveled to its finale, ladies slipped out of their heels, and men loosened their ties.  The ice had melted, the candles burned out, and the DJ was on his last song of the night, “Don’t Stop Believin’.”  Friends and family said their final farewell to the couple, and everyone parted ways.  As our Los Angeles wedding catering team packed up the rest of our equipment and scrubbed down the kitchen, we closed the door on another fun wedding at, The Marvimon House.

Liana and Tal, from all of us at Eco Caters, we want to wish you a wonderful life together and a big thank you for sharing so much with us through your wedding process.  We were honored to be your Los Angeles wedding caterer of choice.  Everything turned out so beautiful and the wonderful photographs of Annie McElwain captured all the intimate details completely.   (All photographs compliments of Annie McElwain Photography)
